The manual consists of lessons, including adapted journalistic texts, lexical and creative tasks, motivating students to communicate on a given topic, the formation of practical skills and the development of speech skills. The peculiarity of the organization of the material is the orientation of students on the expression of their own opinions and the conduct of discussions when working in a group in Russian as a foreign (advanced stage) and in Russian as non -native. The purpose of the course is the development of linguistic, speech and sociocultural competence of students. The manual is aimed at improving all types of speech activity – reading, listening, speaking, writing. It covers a wide range of those socio-cultural and social nature.
