The famous tale of the Italian writer Carlo Collodi about the adventures of a wooden boy Pinocchio gained a new life in this edition thanks to the magnificent illustrations of the Australian artist Robert Ingpen. He gained worldwide fame as the author and illustrator of more than a hundred different books. In 1986, R. Ingpen was awarded the H.K. Andersen International Prize for contribution to children’s literature.
