A.F. Losev: creativity, traditions, interpretations

The book is dedicated to the work of the great Russian philosopher of the twentieth century A.F. Loseva (1893-1988). Modern researchers from different countries- Russia, Germany, Canada, Poland, Serbia, the USA?- Analyze the Losev’s heritage from different points of view: as a philosopher, aesthetics, logic, culturalist, classic philologist, linguist, mathematics, musicologist and fiction writer. The publication includes both specially written research and a number of materials of the XIV Losev Readings-the International Scientific Conference “Creativity by A.F. Losev in the context of the domestic and European cultural tradition: on the 120th anniversary of his birth and the 25th anniversary of death”, which was held in Moscow in October 2013? The collection includes archival materials, including the texts of A.F. Losev, as well as translations into Russian of articles dedicated to him, published in the second half of the 1920s in inaccessible foreign publications.
