The next book of the Big Moscow Library is dedicated to Konstantin Sergeyevich Aksakov (1817-1860) – to the thinker, publicist, literary critic, historian, philologist and poet, the eldest son of S. T. Aksakov.
This original person, one of the theorists of Slavophilism, was an active member of the circle of N.V. while studying at Moscow University. Stankevich along with V.G. Belinsky, V.P. Botkin and others who later became ideological opponents. In the 1840s, he became one of the most zealous supporters and propagandists of the transformation of Russian society into family, distinctive principles. The ardent opponent of Peter I reforms, the indefatigable “Moskvolyub”, tirelessly proving the priority position of Moscow in Russian history, the apologist for Holy Rus’ and the Russian people, K.S. Aksakov took an irreconcilable position in disputes with his opponents.
