There is no city of Yoburg on the map. In the Soviet Union there was a closed industrial giant city of Sverdlovsk, in Russia it turned into a Khaigec metropolis Yekaterinburg, and Yoburg was an intermediate stage between Soviet and Russian formations.
In the new book of Alexei Ivanov, “Yoburg” – a hundred novel about Yekaterinburg on the break in history: the stories about real people who did not give up circumstances and stubbornly built the future. The era of change gave rise to heroes and titans, and the whole country knew many of them by names. Yekaterinburg never “fell out of history”, always decided for himself, and therefore gave his own bright answers to all the burning questions of the era. And this happened during the time of Yoburg.
