The second volume is devoted to the economic and political problems of the post-communist transformation of Russia. The two books that make up this volume were written in the second half of the 1990s.
“Economics and power: the political history of economic reform in Russia (1985-1994)” considers the relationship and influence of economic and political problems that arose during the period of restructuring and after the collapse of the Soviet system, reveals the causes of decisions taken by the highest leadership and Russia, as well as the illusions and misconceptions of the authorities.
“Economic reform: through the prism of the Constitution and Politics” is one of the first studies of the problems of the constitutional economy in relation to modern Russia.
