White Sea. Encyclopedia: bone, zone, Semenov

The publication is dedicated to one of the smallest Russian northern seas – the White Sea, which is part of the Arctic Ocean.
The encyclopedia contains about 500 articles on hydrographic, geographical objects and hydrological features of the sea. The most significant natural objects are represented – islands, peninsula, bays, rivers, their geographical features, economy, culture and history, as well as cities, ports, water, biological resources, international agreements, research institutions, activities of prominent scientists, researchers, travelers.
The chronology of the main events is given that have become significant milestones in the history of discoveries and the development of the White Sea from the 9th century to the present day.
