The new book of the St. Petersburg author Irina Rogileva, as usual, will not leave the reader indifferent. In the story “What the Stork will not tell” two main stories are interwoven – born before the war, who lived a difficult life and became the abbess of the small monastery of Faina and struggling for his family happiness of the young journalist Olga. As the world in a drop of dew, in this short narrative, not only the tragic age of the twentieth and burning recognition is reflected – like a stork in a nest, falls into the book of the future. The story, as well as stories and fairy tales, urges the reader to think about important questions: why do we live? Does a person need faith in God? What gives repentance? How to defeat old age? The heroes of the book not only look for answers to these questions, but also find them.
