This work is a key in the way of thinking of the “late” Heidegger and is a course of lectures, given in 1951-1952 at the University of Freiburg. The structure and content of the course are “configured” to hear and altogether, which was especially important for the thinker after five years of “excommunication” of Heidegger from the university audience with the French occupation authorities. The Heidegger question of being here already sounds in the context of the metaphysics of the will of Nietzsche, which goes through its origins in ancient Greece – into the thinking of pre -grains. Our dubious time, thinking, memory, “superman” and “last person”, a science that “does not think”, technology, the call of thought – these are the leitmotics of this work.
For students and all those interested in modern philosophy.
