Ekaterina Polyanskaya lives in St. Petersburg. She began to be published in 1998 in the Neva magazine and since then her poems appeared in many Russian magazines, in the Literary Newspaper. The author of four poetic collections. Laureate of prizes and competitions: “Pushkin Lira” (New York, 2001), prizes named after A. Akhmatova (2005), competition. N. Gumilyov (2005), the contest “lost tram”, as well as the Lermontov Prize (2009). A translator of poetry from the Polish and Serbian languages, for several years represents Russia at the Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Poetry. Poems by Ekaterina Polyanskaya were translated into Polish, Bulgarian, Japanese, Czech and English.
