At the beginning of the XIX century, a well -known criminal authority nicknamed Klev ordered a unique collection to the Nizhny Novgorod jeweler – to create eleven butterflies of gold and precious stones, strictly in drawings from entomological encyclopedias. All butterflies wore the names of mythological characters and were fabulously expensive. Gradually, the glory of the “butterflies of the crew” spread throughout the surrounding area, the “crew collection” became a synonym for beauty and wealth, many wanted to possess them … The writer Alena Dmitrieva fell upon the writer, when she went into the hairdresser, seduced by a beautiful sign – “Madame Butterfly”.
