Dainka opened a box found in a cache in the attic of a grandmother’s house. She saw a pack of papers – the letter “yat” flickered in them everywhere. It was the correspondence of the artist Nikolai Privyzhny and the Baroness Einaudi, whose hopeless novel tragically broke off more than a hundred years ago … barely coping with excitement, Daineka gently removed the Baroness’s letter from the envelope. “I’m sending a merchant to you …”, she wrote. Not yet unfolding the second sheet, Dainek knew that it was the original. The merchant to the mansion in Venice, which has no statute of limitations … Carnival madness covered the squares, streets and embankments of Venice. Next to Dainek were two types in gold masks.
