The Book of the Venetian Alberto Tozo Fei is a guide to Venice of myths and secrets. It is composed of seven routes along all six historical districts of Venice, indicating the streets and the application of detailed carte schemes. However, the “rod”, which is strung by walks, is not the history of architectural monuments and styles of painting, as in ordinary guides, but urban legends. Alberto Tozo Fei (b. 1966) comes from a family of hereditary glassbuilding, and before the release of this book was known as a specialist and enthusiast of the history of Muranian glass. This is his first book, which went beyond his direct specialty, and many others followed it.
