An example of Chinese classical literature. Against the historical background of the 16th century, Jing Tzu (1701 – 1754) depicts its time. Hundreds of characters, different in class and occupation, are involved in the plot, stretched for 100 years. Free handling with the plot allows us to combine sentimental and military adventure chapters, the heads of the Plutov romance and excerpts from the guide to the south-reign or from the leadership in the rites. This satirical novel is considered Chinese dead souls.
