Immediately after the Second World War, the Soviet Union was drawn into a series of incessant conflicts around the world – in Asia, Africa, South America. Not only our military advisers and specialists actively participated in these “unbearable” wars, but also “fighters of the invisible front”, opposing the enemy intelligence services. Until recently, the details of secret operations were stored under the heading “Top Secret”, veterans gave a signal of non -disclosure, their exploits and victories are known only to a narrow circle of professionals. Even after the collapse of the USSR, such information rarely appeared in the public domain, the information is extremely stingy, fragmentary, fragmented.
This book was a real breakthrough. This is the first complete encyclopedia of the secret wars of the USSR, based on the recently declassified materials of state and departmental archives, as well as evidence of participants who first violated the vow of silence.
