U2 is Adam Clayton (bass), Larry Mallen Jr. (shock), Edge (guitar) and bono (vocals, guitar). Initially, punk influenced their music, but the group quickly studied, their sound developed, without losing the distinctive elements of Bono vocals and the unique guitar sound of Edge. The first album of Boy was released under the ISland label in 1980. Starting from this release, U2 began to slowly move from the national to the world stage, the breakthrough happened when they performed at the Live Aid concert Bob Gldorf in 1985, it was this appearance that presented the music of the U2 of the huge world audience.
The group continues to release albums – the freshest – this is no line on the Horizon in 2009 – and the tour in its support. The tour of 360 ° continues until 2011, and U2 is not going to stop: their music is still intriguing old and new fans, and live performances are breathtaking.
