Otto von Bismarck is one of the legendary personalities in world history. The “Iron Chancellor” of Germany, he created the German Empire (II Reich) and had a huge impact on international politics not only in the XIX, but also in the 20th century. Bismarck was well versed in foreign policy, knew the state of European states and Russia well (he lived in St. Petersburg for a long time, being the ambassador of Prussia in Russia).
