Vladislav Felicanovich Khodasevich (1886-1939)- Russian writer with a rather vast literary heritage. He chose his calling very early: the first poem was written by him already at the age of 6. Known, first of all, as a brilliant memoirist, a historian of literature, in particular Pushkin’s work, a translator and critic. To a lesser extent, readers know Vladislav Khodasevich as a poet, although 5 poetic collections were published during his lifetime.
The book included all these collections, as well as poems, or not published during life, or unfinished.
The Necropolis, which Vladislav Khodasevich created from his memoirs from emigration, was included in the book, as well as the chosen memories of “about himself” and “about contemporaries.” The stories of the writer, as well as his memoirs, returned us to that era when many were forced to leave their homeland …
