The Tale of Peter and Fevronia is one of the most famous works of ancient Russian literature, it is still being studied as part of the school curriculum. Prince Peter and his wife Fevronia lived at the beginning of the XIII century. Their union has become an example of a real Christian marriage, a model of family love and fidelity.
