History is the subject of the image in the “Tale of Bygone Years”, poetics are the forms of this image. The wheel of history makes a complete revolution in the Tale of Bygone Years: from a tribal riveting to a state association, the violated internodimony of the second half of the 11th century, and again to the unity of Rus’ reached by the Monomakh. Gathering in his narrative Russian history, the chronicler managed to state its move as a “self -disclosed being” (M. Bakhtin), with all the visibility of twice demonstrating the destructiveness of the growth and twice the goodness of unity.
