The book is dedicated to a short, but full of violent events in the history of the emergence and development of the securities market of the Russian Empire from the middle of the XIX century. Until 1917, against the backdrop of the general context of the era, considered through the prism of financial history.
After the reform of the 1860s, which began the modernization of the country’s economy, a new development path arose. In a short time, a new type of credit and financial system was created along with an extensive network of financial institutions, and the securities market, back in the first half of the XIX century.
