Alexander Nikolaevich Studitsky (1908-1991)-Russian Soviet prose writer and biologist. Born in Atkarsk (Saratov province.). A specialist in the field of histology, for a long time worked as deputy editor -in -chief of the journal “Success of Modern Biology”. He developed a biological theory of regeneration, according to which in the course of evolution there is an increase in the regeneration ability of tissue systems. The author of the discovery (1976). Published more than 300 scientific works.
Studitsky gained specific fame by the active criticism of “reactionary muzzle-morganism” in the late 1940s, continued in his science fiction story, written in the spirit of fiction of the “neighbor’s sight”, “The Mind of the Universe” (Fragm. 1961; 1966). Studitsky’s Peru also belongs to the scientific and fiction works “The Treasure of the Black Sea” (1956) and the “Bogatyre Road” published in this collection.
