This book is dedicated to Bruno Schultsu – the Polish writer and artist of Jewish origin, one of the classics of world literature of the 20th century. During his short life, he published only two books that posthumously brought him world fame. In them, he created his own, not like anything like a mythology. Its “cinnamon shops” and “sanatorium under the klepsidra” are filmed, translated into many languages and are constantly published all over the world.
This year there is a hundred -day anniversary of his birth and the seventh anniversary of the tragic death from the SS bullet in the Drohobych ghetto.
The author of the book, hedgehogs of Fitsovsky is a writer, poet, translator who devoted many years to the search for the creative heritage of Bruno Schulz, lost in the disaster of World War II. One of those who helped return his name from nothingness.
