The textbook is devoted to world history of political teachings. The materials presented in it are the totality of political theories and views of the most famous and outstanding thinkers, political and statesmen about the laws of the historical process of the emergence and development of theoretical knowledge about the state, politics, the essence of power and political regimes, starting from antiquity and ending with the XXI century.
The structure of the manual is linked to the problem of periodization of the history of mankind itself, in respect of which researchers of political thought have various points of view.
