The collection presents the materials of experts prepared for the international conference “Food Strategy of Russia in the context of globalization (2011-2031)” (Moscow, RANEPAS, 2011) and processed specifically for this book. For the first time, the future of the Russian food system is considered in conditions when Russian (and world) medical science is recommended to sharply reduce the norms of human energy nutrition. This decision will force to radically change the landmarks in the development of agriculture and the food industry. In fact, a new paradigm of the formation of a modern food system is proposed. Not only its large -scale modernization is ahead, but also very serious explanatory work among the population. Many questions raised in the book require further study by science and testing in practice.
The authors of articles are 28 well -known scientists and practitioners, including 15 doctors of sciences, 7 candidates of sciences and 6 successful leaders of Russian agribusiness enterprises.
