For the bloc, the surrounding life was, according to contemporaries, unknown, incomplete, incomprehensible. Perhaps that is why he invented his own language, the meaning of which is not in words, but “between words or near them.” The name of the Blok is associated with the brightest, cleanest, beautiful in Russian poetry, no matter what woman he wrote about.
The image of the block remained a strange, mysterious, tragic shadow, which was his poetry. The rest of the biography, real and invented, is in his verses.
