The book “Russians in the twentieth century. The tragedy and triumphs of the great people” reveal the ideological foundations of national policy in the USSR and the Russian Federation. The main trends, problems and contradictions in the development of the people are traced at the stages of revolutionary transformations, great victories, defeats and hopes for the best future. Particular attention is paid to the Russian people as a system-forming nucleus of a new historical community, which is formed in the USSR-Russia for a century. Facts are given that do not fit into the concept of the triumph of the Lenin-Stalinist national policy in Soviet times.
