Russian history in the paintings. Issue 5: Time of Troubles. The end of the 16th century – 1613

The set includes reproductions of paintings devoted to the most important events of the Time of Troubles: from the death of Tsarevich Dmitry in Uglich and the reign of Boris Godunov to the expulsion of the Polish interventionists and calling to the kingdom of Mikhail Fedorovich – the first king of the Romanov dynasty.
The reproductions of Russian painters presented in the set are devoted to the most important events of the complete tragedy of the Time of Troubles. The death of Tsarevich Dmitry in Uglich caused the appearance of an impostor, who interrupted the short -lived reign of Godunovs. This dramatic event divided society, calling for life a series of rulers held against the backdrop of the Polish intervention, the heroism of the defenders of the siege of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, and the appeal of Kozma Minin to the Russian people about the salvation of the Fatherland.
