The book contains a description of the types of forests of Russia, breeds of trees, shrubs and herbs, a detailed reference to the mushroom picker and collector of berries and herbs. The book has more than a thousand illustrations: masterpieces of landscape painting, magnificent illustrations from unique Russian, German, English and French botanical atlases of the XIX-XX centuries. “Russian Forest” was created on the basis of the best texts from the popular and scientific works of Russian nature-breeding writers of the XIX-XX centuries (Kaigorodova, Bogdanov, etc.). In preparation for the publication, the texts are processed taking into account modern scientific data and information.
