Return Liu Shaiocy: Yuri Galenovich

The monograph is dedicated to the life and activity of Liu Shaioci, the outstanding leader of China, who, after the formation of the PRC, for the entire seventeen years of the republic’s existence was a universally recognized “second person” in China, occupied the posts of the Chairman of the PRC, deputy chairman of the CPC of the CPC. During the “cultural revolution” Mao Zedong reacted to Liu Shahocia as the main opponent of his ideas and politicians. In violation of the laws of the PRC and the Charter of the CPC, “forever excluded it from the party,” and imprisoned him, barbarously treated him and brought him to his death in prison. The book was built in an unusual form of comments on the film about Liu Shaiocius, released in 2005 and returning the good name Liu Shaiocius to the consciousness of the general circles of the Chinese public. The release of the film and the publication of a number of books about Liu Shaioci speak of recognition of his merits, about the reassessment of the role in the history of China of this leader of a truly national scale.
