Requiem Karavan PQ-17: Valentin Pikul

In the documentary tragedy “Requiem of the PQ -17 caravan” is a cruel reality of the past war – the death of one of the allied caravans in polar latitudes. The story “Boys with Banks” is devoted to the organization and construction of the Jung school on the Solovetsky Islands to replenish the fleet during the Great Patriotic War. “Barbarossa” is the first volume of the last, incomplete dilogy “Square of the fallen fighters.” The author did not have time to write the second volume. Roman-thought, as the writer called him, talks about the heroic and tragic Stalingrad battle of 1942-1943.
