In the park of an old French castle, a corpse of a young woman was found. A few days later, someone kills the castle’s caretaker. Further, the murders follow one after another: the elderly lady from the mansion in the neighborhood is dying, her maid, art critic, who worked in the castle for some time … The master of the castle Andrzej Rakovsky comes to the conclusion that all those killed are somehow connected with the paintings of the French painter, decorating the corridors of the castle. On one of the canvases, as it turned out, the artist encrypted the location of the cache, which contains the unique picture of Rubens “Removing from the Cross”, exuding powerful negative energy …
