Religious Science. Theological and philosophical study: Jacob Archpriest

Archpriest Jacob Iakovlevich Galakhov (1865-1938) was a major theologian specializing in Biblicism and apologetics. He occupied the professor’s department of theology at the Imperial Tomsk University and at the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute before the revolution. Teaching at the university also suggested scientific theological activity, the fruit of which was the book “On Religion”, which we reprinted under the name “Religious Science”. We print the first part of this theological and philosophical study on the second, corrected and supplemented publication (Tomsk, 1914), and the second – for the only publication (Tomsk, 1915). This study is one of the valuable university theological courses on religious studies. For all those interested in religious studies, the history of religion, philosophy and theology.
