The entertainment programs of the Central Russian Television of the 2000s are analyzed: TV shows, current and reality shows, leisure programs, advertising, sports and entertainment programs. The problem of constructing and representing sociocultural reality is investigated. The focus is on the television images of the daily life of Russians, the representations of social groups, norms and values broadcast by television.
