The book represents the first in the world literature a detailed modern analysis of the conceptual issues of the theory of chemical structure from the point of view of physics.
The presentation is carried out within the framework of the molecular-organ approach to the theory of the electronic structure of molecules with the involvement of voluminous-diagram visual representations of molecular structures calculated by quantum-chemical tools of software.
The author considers a variety of molecular structures from the simplest molecules to compounds of organic chemistry and coordination compounds. The basis of the physical idea of a stationary molecular structure is the interaction of particles that make up the molecule, and not the analysis of molecular orbitals widely used in the literature. The author shows that it is precisely the ratio of attraction and repulsion of various parts of the molecular structure that makes it possible to understand the physical nature of the structure of chemical particles.
The author’s approach encourages the reader not to click on a purely computational result …
