Privalovsky millions: Dmitry Mamin-Sibiryak

In the county Ural town, an event: after a long absence, a young millionaire and heir to the Shatrov plants Sergey Aleksandrovich Privalov returned. His arrival causes a noticeable commotion. The local matchmaker decides to earn extra money on Sergey, marriage to his daughter Father Privalov, Nadezhda Bakhareva. And the guardians of the heir conceive a cunning intrigue, the purpose of which is to preserve and increase their influence on Sergey and continue to make money on his property. Dmitry Narkisovich Mamin-Sibiryak (1852-1912) compared contemporaries with the largest French writer Emil Zola. The Roman “Privalovsky millions” (1883) is the first large work of the writer, which brought him genuine recognition and fame.
