Otto Weininger (1880-1903) – Austrian philosopher. In 1898 he entered the philosophy of the University of Vienna, which he graduated with honors, defending his doctoral dissertation on the topic of bisexuality. Otto Weininger defiantly committed suicide in the hotel room in which Beethoven died. The book “Paul and Character”, the main work of Weinger, still remaining cult, is written from natural philosophical positions and is a global study of “male” and “female” beginning. The first is inherent in a high level of development of consciousness, creation and asceticism. The second is the bearer of a primitive model of consciousness, unproductiveness and sensuality. The bearers of the “female” begins, in addition to women, also men – Jews and blacks.
“Paul and character” is one of the most scandalous books in psychoanalysis.
