The book introduces the views of the outstanding English thinker and historian Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881), presented in his most important works “Heroes, Heroes veneration and heroic in history” and “Past and present”, as well as in the collection of aphorisms “Ethics of Life” (“To work and not to lose heart!”).
