The Linux from scratch project is the development of the Linux project from scratch. The translation is made from the English version 7.4 – the first stable version issued over the past five years. This version is synchronized with version 7.4 of the Linux from zero project and is an extension of the latter approximately 750 packages.
The first part of the project, which is presented in this book, provides a detailed description of the installation and settings of packages necessary for the safe use of the system and connecting it to local and global networks. From this part you will also learn how to correctly install common -system libraries, network and system utilities, main command membranes and some text editors. You can also establish a virtualization environment and a number of instrumental packages necessary for programming in languages such as C, C ++, Perl, Python, PHP, Ruby and Java.
