The author of the book is an experienced hunter, an honorary member of the Leningrad Society of Hunters, the Union of Societies of Hunters of Russia, has high sports categories for various types of shooting.
For many years, he worked on hunting topics in Lenniilh, organized dressing hunts (moose, wild boars, wolf) in the institute hunting economy (based on the Siversky experimental-mechanized forestry) and in other places.
