The book discusses the main structural characteristics of European civilization from archaic eras to the present. The balance of three logos (Apollonian, Dionysian and Cibelic) is revealed at different stages of European history and in different regions of Europe. The idea of two Europe is developing – Roman and Greek, Western -based and eastern commercial, which predetermined the cultural and religious differences of Western Europe and Byzantium, including the Pre -Residential societies of Eastern Europe. The genesis of the modern paradigm is investigated, starting from the ancient eras (matriarchal elements of Celtic culture, religion of the Middle Eastern Cybele, atomism, epicurestvo, etc.). European history is seen as the field of noomachius – the struggle of the Apollonian principle with the cybelic (the decisive victory of the cybela is Western European modern, the scientific picture of the world of the New Age).
