By the 90th birthday, a book with the letters and texts of Marcus Wolf, friends and associates, with love with love of the widow and perennial comrade Andrea Wolf and her daughter Claudia Val, was published.
For the vast majority of Soviet people, the name of Marcus Wolf – a writer, a scout, an internationalist – says a lot. The son of German intellectuals and anti -fascists grew up in exile in the USSR, led one of the most powerful and effective intelligence services of the world for more than 30 years. After the release in 1986, Wolf completely devoted himself to literary work.
