Metamorphoses of love and death in Talmudic texts: Reuvevaser Reuven

The author of the book is a researcher of Talmudic literature, that is, literature created by Jewish sages in late antiquity in the country of Israel and Sasanid Persia. The book is not strictly scientific, but belongs to the genre of essay, i.e. It is something intermediate between a scientific article and a literary essay. Most of the book consists of discussing selected stories from Talmudic literature, explained from the point of view of modern literary criticism and historical science.
