The book proposed to the reader contains a number of little -known works by N. A. Naydenov. In 1889, his book “The village of Batyevo was published. Materials for the history of its population of the XVII – XIX centuries”. It published the documents discovered by Nikolai Alexandrovich (during a trip to the homeland of the ancestors), starting from the scribe books of 1628 – 1630, in the village of Batyevo, from where the found family went. N. A. Naydenov became the first researcher and the new, Moscow Motherland of Naydenov’s family – Syryatniki and Vorontsovo Field. In 1903 and 1905, three of his books about churches in this area were published: Ilya of the Prophet and Pokrov (the Georgian Mother of God) on the Vorontsov Field, as well as Nikola in Vorobin. They describe the stories of church parishes and households from the XVIII to the beginning of the 20th century, the names of all church ministers, elders, and also traced the history of the Nethenov possessions (houses 53 and 57 in the garden shaft and 1 – 3 according to the Pokrovsky Boulevard).
