Theoretical and applied issues of analysis and management of the level of economic risk in the economic activities of enterprises are considered. The results of a comparative comparison of the categories of “uncertainty” and “risk” are given, theoretical approaches to formalizing uncertainty and risk in economic interactions are set out. From the standpoint of the new system paradigm, the main provisions of the operational theory of economic risk management are set out, the operational characteristics of the processes of evaluating, analyzing and risk management processes are described, and applied methods of identifying economic risk factors are described, and methodological requirements for describing risk situations are formulated, on the basis of which methods of managing the level of economic risk in the activities of economic entities of various levels can be developed.
