Kondratiev waves. Long and medium -term cycle. Yearbook 2014: Grinin, Korotaev, smooth

This year of the annual is the third of the new series of the Kondratyevsky waves almanacs, which began in 2012. It has subtitles “Long and medium -term cycles”. In the year of year, aspects of the relationship between the average (7-11 years) and long (40-60 years) cycles are investigated from different sides. This is all the more important that this problem is not sufficiently studied. Meanwhile, it is in this direction that one can look for the answer to the question about the causes of long depression of the world economy, including in the present period. Such an analysis is also able to shed light on the causes of the most mysterious moment-the sufficiently stable duration of the Kondratiev waves and their phases (40-60 and 20-30 years old).
