The book tells about the history of the amazing discovery of more than one hundred and seventy toponyms similar to the name of the city of Kolpino, scattered in the vast territory of Central and Eastern Europe. For the first time, a unique map is given on which these toponyms are applied. Based on linguistic analysis, their Slavic origin is shown, and a unambiguous Russian translation of the root of the word is also proved. On a wide historical material, it is shown that toponyms with the root foundation of K-L-P, K-B, are taken much earlier than the beginning of our era. Significant historical and reference material is also attached, showing the existence of our ancestors of the Rus (according to the terminology of Yu. Petukhov) long before the “official recognition” of the linguistic community of the Slavs.
