One of the main studies of the history of Indian philosophy is the book of the largest philosopher of modern India, the President of the Republic of India (1962-1967) – Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan “Indian philosophy”. This study went down in the history of Indian and world philosophical thought as a deep analysis of the philosophical heritage of ancient India. In Indian philosophy, the author’s deep erudition is combined with a consciously applied comparative approach. Radhakrishrishnan expresses conviction of the unity of the global philosophical tradition from Plato to Hegel, which correspond to the philosophical views of Indian thinkers. The combination of Western scentism and the eastern philosophical and psychological tradition could create, according to the author, the possibilities for world spiritual synthesis, “eternal philosophy.”
