For the first time, Katrin Deneva publishes six diaries, which she kept on the set of films for forty years of her career, starting from the film “Tristan” by Luis Bunuel and ending with “Lars von Trier dancing in the darkness. In these diaries, she does not appear at all the way we used to see her on the screen – a woman, sometimes tired and a little lonely, but always passionate. The actress never opened her soul to the public so sincerely and frankly, because initially the diaries were not intended for the publication.
The book is completed by a unique interview with the film director and screenwriter Pascal Bonik. It does not have a hint of complacency or arrogance, there are neither gossip nor rumors. Only a quiet and enchanting voice that talks about the world of cinema.
