The book is dedicated to the events of the end of the last century, when clashes in Nagorno -Karabakh entailed an aggravation of the interethnic conflict within both republics and led to the expulsion of both Armenians living in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani population of Armenia. The author, a native of Baku, became a witness and participant in the described events. An important part of the narrative is thoughts on the history of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. The reader will find in the text a lot of bright household details describing the multinational city that has irrevocably gone into the past. In the light of current political events, this live certificate acquires a new relevance, confirming the thought expressed by the author: “There is nothing new under the sun, except people who want to believe that this time it will be different.”
